The first meeting is exploratory – a chance for each to get to know the other, to consider what you hope for and what I may be able to offer. Is the accent on spiritual accompaniment or on pastoral supervision?
It may be useful to meet for a few times and then review the relationship together. Do be honest about what you think and feel is important for your development.
On a practical level, it is good to agree clearly how often we will meet and what fee is appropriate. (Charges are waived for ordinands in training.) Parking is available, and there are convenient bus routes nearby.
