About

Revd Canon Dr Margaret Whipp

I am an Anglican priest with long experience of accompanying people along the spiritual journey. I have worked in parish churches, university and hospital chaplaincies, and for many years as a theological educator in Church of England training colleges. My first profession was in medicine.

Sustaining the soul of ministry is something which matters deeply to me. I am a trained spiritual director in the Ignatian tradition, and an accredited pastoral supervisor with APSE.

As part of my wider work I serve voluntarily as a member of the Oxford diocesan LGBTI+ chaplaincy team. I also continue some work in university chaplaincy as the Catechist at Exeter college.

Please get in touch if you would like an introductory conversation to explore how we might work together.
